Here he is – Diego Lou Mueller – in all his glory, hair freshly cut, the trauma of the cut and shave almost recovered from completely (he is very sensitive where his hair is concerned). These photos are actually from about a month ago, before the heat really settles in, even in these cool – blessedly so – mountains. He’s such a good boy (mostly). During the spring, when the windows are open at LAST to the perfectly glorious air, he can be a little over-zealous about strange noises in the night, real or imagined. Coyotes howling? No response from our hero. But a sound only he can hear? Oh yes, that gets him going. He does not bite, but lemme tell you – his bark is a boom, especially when his momma has a headache, as she does today. The little dear… 😉
