The Eagles Are Coming, The Eagles Are Coming!
The world is so beautiful…and if you aren’t familiar with the quote above, it’s from LOR and I know almost every line in all of those movies because of course I do. Winter is an amazing time to see wildlife, especially raptors like these two local eagles, who were captured by a friend of mine. LOVE. Altho, why do they always looked so pissed off, or disappointed in Junior – especially the one on the right here? Maybe because being the avian symbol of the U.S. ain’t so fun these days – but – we’re not talking polly-ticks, we’re talking natural beauty. One day recently I saw a rafter of turkeys – yes, a group of turkeys is a rafter, which is hilarious – and even if they’re not raptors they’re still very cool, as well as several different kinds of hawks, and two golden eagles as well as an immature golden. It felt, it was, very lucky. The world is so, so, so beautiful, whatever the season.
